The farmhouse has a beautiful guesthouse on the ground floor, consisting of two attractive guestrooms and a very comfortable apartment. Around the farmhouse are terraces and a large garden with seats in the sun or shade.
On the estate is also a beautiful natural camping & glamping area for campers. The sanitary facilities are new, spacious and fresh.

Met het vernieuwde sanitair weten wij geen mooier natuurkampeerterrein in deze streek dan deze! We gaan zeker terugkomen, de 8 dagen waren te kort. Dank Arjan en Heleen.Einfach toll
Eigentlich hatten wir nur 1 Nacht geplant, aber er wurden 7 daraus! Die Ruhe und Weite war überwältigend, die Atmosphäre auf Camping Wilgenheerd grossartig! Danke vielmals Arjan und Heleen!Wow….
Wat hebben we hier genoten zeg: de safaritent is top, het sanitair super en de gastvrijheid enorm! Het wadloopavontuur zullen we nooit vergeten... Dank jullie wel en we komen terug hoor!Wat een feest!
Glamping.. we hadden er nog niet van gehoord. Maar de fantastische Tipi aan het water bleek een groot feest, en schot in de roos; de plek aan het water, de outdoor keuken en de gezellige tent zelf. We zeggen het voort!, maar niet te luid..!Wat een plek!
Met onze kano komen aanvaren, tentje opgezet aan de Hoornse Vaart, wat een plek! Dank voor de gastvrijheid.Nice to meet you!
We are Arjan Eleveld & Heleen Westerhof and for more then 3 years the owners of Wilgenheerd estate. When we found this place we immediately knew: this will be our new home. The tranquility and vastness, the views and above all the pure environment are really breathtaking.

Wilgenheerd sustainable
We find it important to live with respect for nature, the environment and the people around us. And of course we hope that our guests do too! So we reduce and separate our waste, use environmentally friendly cleaning- and washing products. We eat and serve mostly local products from farms and artisan stores around us. The solar panels and heatpipes ensure that Wilgenheerd is largely self-sufficient. We use gas consciously and hope to get rid of it in the near future, so that we can live completely energy neutral. We work together with all kinds of local companies for sustainable maintenance of grounds and farm, but also for improvements and investments in our company.
